چکیده
Abstract 3D printing is a widely used technology for automating the fabrication of prototypes. The benefits are wide reaching, and include low required expertise, accurate geometric form processibility many materials. However, production certain forms – especially large can be slow. From review sub-systems, hotend commonly found to limiting factor. To improve this, modified nozzle design considered that incorporates flat copper plate within flow stream. Analytical simulation was guide this before experimental methods validated modifications. maximum volumetric rate standard 14 mm3/s. best performing increased 26 mm3/s an 86% increase. A series popular parts were further considered, demonstrating ∼48% time reduction, mean ∼23%. This enables printed prototypes made more efficiently both with regards cycle energy use allows designers rapidly than previously possible. By extension, improves efficiency process.

Process capability improvement through DMAIC for aluminum alloy wheel machining
This paper first enlists the generic problems of alloy wheel machining and subsequently details on the process improvement of the identified critical-to-quality machining characteristic of A356 aluminum alloy wheel machining process. The causal factors are traced using the Ishikawa diagram and prioritization of corrective actions is done through process failure modes and effects analysis. Proce...

متن کاملReducing the Response Time for Activity Recognition Through use of Prototype Generation Algorithms
The nearest neighbor approach is one of the most successfully deployed techniques used for sensor-based activity recognition. Nevertheless, this approach presents some disadvantages in relation to response time, noise sensitivity and high storage requirements. The response time and storage requirements are closely related to the data size. This notion of data size is an important issue in senso...

Upper Bound Analysis of Tube Extrusion Process Through Rotating Conical Dies with Large Mandrel Radius
In this paper, an upper bound approach is used to analyze the tube extrusion process through rotating conical dies with large mandrel radius. The material under deformation in the die and inside the container is divided to four deformation zones. A velocity field for each deformation zone is developed to evaluate the internal powers and the powers dissipated on all frictional and velocity disco...
